Dear runners,
We regret to inform you that TRAMUNTANA TRAVESSA which was scheduled for the 7th and 8th of April 2023 has been canceled due to the extreme weather conditions caused by storm Juliette. This storm has brought with it heavy snowfall and a large amount of fallen trees on the roads and estates that were going to be used for the race.
The safety of our participants is our highest priority, and after evaluating the conditions, and meetings with different competent authorities, always with their full support on their part, we have come to the conclusion that the race cannot last- carried out under these circumstances. The conditions we have at the moment not only endanger the safety of the participants, but also make it difficult to carry out emergency services if necessary.
We would like to express our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause you. We know many of you have been training hard for this event and were looking forward to competing. We are very sad to have to make this decision, but we believe it is the best to ensure everyone’s safety.
We understand that this may be a big disappointment to all those who have been eagerly awaiting TRAMUNTANA TRAVESSA, but we hope that they will understand that this cancellation is necessary.
The registration total will be refunded in full, refunds will be processed automatically and you will be notified by email in the next few days.
